- Very interesting video you've posted about your experiences as a theist and the subsequent move to atheism. I wish I could say that I had that blissful ignorance or indoctrination, but throughout my life I've never really had that ability to believe in it, apart from when I was very young.
When I actually spent time to review what I had been told, I felt somewhat of a sinking feeling as though I had been trapped -- albeit for a short time -- in some form of cognitive morass.
But, the sinking feeling wasn't precipitated precisely because I'd lost out on blissful ignorance, but rather that there were those who were profiteering from the lack of truth and sadly those of my age who had bought into it, and were already walking down a very un-fulfilling path.
It sounds like a bit of a random admonishment to make in an introductory message, I grant you.. I should probably be saying "welcome", but I thought I'd reciprocate a little from my life, since you spent the time doing the same for us here.
