I don't think I can rewire the brains of theists, but I contend that there are many people that are only social theists. I'm not out to convert theists to atheism, but I am on a mission to undermine their organized religions.

In my opinion, NO publicly funded (by taxes) government of any type should fund any religious/belief group. For an atheist group to ask or accept this type of funding would give the gov't control, also.

Things I Want

There are only two selfish things I want to do:

1. Appear on Real Time with Bill Maher.
2. Write a book regarding atheism in America.

Other things I desire:

1. The removal of laws that are religion-based.
2. The removal of swearing in on religious texts from any oath of office. It's downright childish.
3. I'd like to see more people leaning toward humanism and humanitarian works rather than pandering to religious taboos and apathy to the unfortunate.
4. A fair judicial system for all races, beliefs/nonbeliefs, creeds, genders and sexual preferences. This would include putting caps on lawyers fees. I'm tired of the poor getting the shaft while the rich get lesser or no sentences due to highly paid legal help.
(I'll be adding more later)

1. God can’t keep children from dying of dreaded diseases and starvation, nor any adult either.
