It's been a long time since I followed a long anime series. A friend of mine was insisting me to watch Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, arguing it was like nothing I had seen before. So I decided to give it a try. After the third episode I have to say I will continue watching the whole thing.
If you have time, watch this episode. There are still many gags and situations that might be boring or just silly unless you're 12 years old. But in general is a very good example how religion w…

From
Su Nombre en VanoI don't write much about the Jews. This is mostly because either Christianity or Islam commit more atrocities and make their nonsense more obvious to the world. Which doesn't mean that the Jewish people are not guilty of anything, but in those cases, there is a huge percentage of the population (especially liberals) that will "stand for Palestine" and criticize Israel. Finally, I have to admit I don't know muc…

An atheist is one who disbelieves in the macrocosm of God(s) or rejects theisms. A Jew is a organism whelped to a Individual fuss or who is a change to Monotheism. To my noesis, there is no Atheistic Somebody disposal in Deutschland.

Hi there folks,
Apologies for my lack of involvement in the community. The truth is that I've been trying to work on a community of a different kid which stems principally from the more-advanced nature of its constitution, but, I digress.
I have a project I'm working on right now which I would be very happy to involve you in. I've noticed that in my area, and nationwide, a lot of charities have used rubber or silicone wristbands as a means of rais

From
Su Nombre en VanoDon't you love it when you get to see mainstream Christian's true colors? Don't you feel good to see that those who brag about loving the neighbor are just as, or even more bigoted than the average person? Isn't it reassuring that we are in the right path?
So, some days ago, this billboard was put up:

Men who inspire greatness are usually seen in literature as those that not only make history but whose works serve as fuel for others to do the same. Undeniably, two of those men live today.

From Su Nombre en VanoSeriously. By
definition, an “Act of God” is “
A manifestation especially of a violent or destructive natural force, such as a lightning strike or earthquake, that is beyond human power to cause, prevent, or control.”
And what did it destroy? Well, Jesus

From Atheist Climber Blog
Writing this blog has been a huge learning experience for me. I've had a large amount of comments, on some threads particularly, which have ranged from enlightened thought through to downright insanity, but each has helped me formulate just where I stand in relation to religion, humanity and the universe. One thing has become clear to me when discussing issues with atheis…

I published this piece at my blog and thought you all might appreciate it.
As you may know, my universe has no room for the possibility of a god. And in general I don't care what other people think and believe as long as their suppositions and practices don't affect me in any way. You can believe in fairies and unicorns and believe you have to bay at the moon 2 times a night to stop from imploding, and…

I've been watching Lost this last month. It was good, very good, and couldn't help writing something about it from, well, the skeptic point of view. These are my opinions, so you may not totally agree with them.

If there is anything the Catholic Church received from God, it's a capacity to behave like a total asshole. It is as if someone in Rome wakes up and thinks "It's a nice morning, what can we do today to be more of a dick than we were yesterday? Let's see, we did already cover thousands of rapes and abuses by our own priests; we complained that the media was against us when they reported on the issue; and we also blamed everyone around for those crimes. Let's see these reports... oh,…

One of the innate human characteristics that separates us from other animals on earth is our insatiable need to find out "why". Our natural need to seek for things like food and a mate is shared with other animals, but the questioning of why things happen is a unique to humans. It is ingrained in us, from the first day we start searching with…

As a previously religious atheist I was recently asked how I would rate the likelyhood of returning to religion as a source of comfort. My response follows:
Religiously motivated childhood indoctrination of the sort that I was subjected to creates a significant (though often subconscious) barrier to questioning the fundamental tenants of imposed religious belief. Having torn down, albeit painfully, that particular barrier sufficiently enough to expose religious mythology for what it tru…
